Hatchling · the free panel
The panel that runs next to your server.
A small Windows app for the machine that runs The Isle: Evrima. It starts, restarts and watches your server, and it is what the dashboard talks to. Free, with no key to paste.
There is no public build yet. Ask on our Discord and we will hand you one.
Windows 10 or newer. Runs as administrator, because it starts and stops the game server.
What it does on its own
-
Keeps the server up
Start, stop and restart, plus an auto-restart after a crash, with a cap so a server that crashes on boot does not loop forever.
-
Edits the settings safely
Game.ini in a form: map, slots, day length, humans, chat. No syntax to break.
-
Shows the logs
The server log and the panel log side by side, with the errors picked out.
-
Installs the mod
On the plans that include it, UE4SS and the Gold-Isle mod go in through a wizard, and come back on their own if the folder goes missing.
From download to your first order
-
Install it on the server machine
Run the installer on the Windows machine or VPS that runs the dedicated server.
-
Point it at your server
The wizard finds the game folder and asks for the RCON password. Hatchling needs no key at all.
-
Pair it with the dashboard
On a paid plan, paste your activation code once. From then on the panel fetches your orders on its own. No port to open.
Made to be left alone
It is built to sit on a VPS for weeks: it fetches its orders from behind NAT and checks in with the dashboard every 30 seconds.
Nothing reaches into your machine. The panel does the calling.
Straight answers
Do I need to keep my machine on?
Yes. The panel on the machine is what acts, so orders only land while it is running. Sent while it is off, they wait in line — and the page says so.
Can I use it on a VPS?
Yes. The panel installs on whatever Windows machine runs your server, and a VPS counts. What matters is that the panel runs next to the server.
Does it work with the current Evrima build?
Yes. And when a game update changes what the server exposes, we say so on the control itself instead of letting it fail quietly.
How do I get my key?
On our Discord — that is where licenses live, tied to the account you sign in with here. Hatchling is free forever and needs no key from us.
